    For a mid-size station wagon the Airwave has enormous cargo capacity, mainly due to flat folding seats and a low and wide rear sill. I thought the fuel gage was broken for the first week, only to discover that I was getting better than 20 kilometers per liter of fuel from the 1500 cc engine. The mechanic recommended 95 octane fuel, which may be initially more expensive, but if it translates into this kind of economy and ultimately extends the engine's life, it may prove better advice than the Honda manufacturer's manual which recommends 91.

    Honda Airwave is a great little station wagon, smooth ride and very economical. Even though it is only 1500cc engine, it is really pokey, great pick up. I love my Honda Airwave.
